Overview :
The Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC), is an apex body of the poultry related associations and voice of the poultry industry in Bangladesh. It’s a common platform of the poultry producers, researchers and academicians. BPICC is a key link between the poultry related associations and the Government, Regulatory bodies and other Stakeholders.
Its mission is to preserve, promote and protect the interests of Bangladeshi poultry industry; guide to improving quality of products, enhancing efficiency of resources, creating awareness of the consumers, ensure price affordability, achieve sustainability & competency and branding Bangladeshi poultry industry and its products in the international markets
It aims to contribute to the national goal to increase protein intake, ensure protein security, building a healthy nation, creating job opportunities and strengthening the rural as well as the national economy.
The vision of BPICC is to feed the present & the posterity and to establish the Bangladeshi Poultry Industry as one of the best, reliable & safe animal protein producers and a strong competitor in the global poultry and export market.
The active members of BPICC are : (1) Feed Industries Association Bangladesh (FIAB), (2) Breeders Association of Bangladesh (BAB); (3) Egg Producers Association of Bangladesh (EPAB); and (4) World's Poultry Science Association-Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB).

BPICC is not only involved with the poultry producers, breeders, manufactures and suppliers but at the same time it is also involved in food safety, corporate social responsibility and branding Bangladeshi Poultry Industry and products.
BPICC's member-associations account around 80 to 85 percent of poultry & fish feed market in Bangladesh, including egg, chicken, day-old-chicks (DOC), feed ingredients & feed additives, poultry medicine, vaccine and equipments/machinery.
Nevertheless to say that the BPICC is a key link between the members-associations and the Government, Regulatory bodies and other Stakeholders. The EC members of BPICC keep informed the respective association-members on the important legislative and regulatory developments; educates policymakers about the industry; communicates with the concerned Ministries, Department of Livestock, government offices and with all the stakeholders.
BPICC's Executive Committee (EC) is comprised of the presidents and general secretaries (or equivalent positions) of the member associations. At present, the 14-members EC committee governs and sets policies for BPICC.
BPICC collect funds from member associations. It also receives funds from patrons and development partners aiming to furtherance the objects of the association. BPICC supports, assists and provide financial assistance to organisations- to create public awareness about the nutrient value of egg and chicken, and to promote poultry products & the industry as a whole.
