The Bangladesh Poultry Industries Coordination Committee (BPICC), is a national, not-for-profit trade association- an apex body of the poultry associations in Bangladesh.
It is the highest and single negotiation body among the government, policymakers and the stakeholders on poultry and related issues.
The poultry producers, breeders, manufactures, suppliers- all the players in poultry industry are involved in BPICC.
BPICC's member-associations account around 98 percent of poultry & fish feed market in Bangladesh- including egg, chicken, day-old-chicks (DOC), feed ingredients & feed additives, poultry medicine, vaccine and equipments/machinery.
BPICC aims to strengthen relations among the member associations and to advocate for the poultry industry in Bangladesh.
The main objectives are:
✓To promote and protect the interests of poultry industry in Bangladesh
✓To raise voices collectively for the sake of continuous growth of this sector
✓To meet the demand of egg & chicken meat for the consumers, at home and abroad
✓To contribute to the national goal to meet the growing demand for animal protein from poultry source
✓To work jointly for food safety, corporate social responsibility and branding Bangladeshi Poultry Industry & products.
✓To act as a key link between the member-associations and the Government, Regulatory bodies and other Stakeholders.
✓To create public awareness about the nutrient value of egg and chicken, and to promote poultry products & the industry as a whole.
✓To promote responsible practices in poultry care and environmental stewardship.
✓Branding the Bangladeshi poultry products and the Industry to the global poultry market.
Our Vision is to establish the poultry industry as the best and most reliable animal protein producer in the country, and a strong competitor in the global poultry export market.
